1995 / The experience with Vittorio Belli

A ‘monument’ of the creative fabric of my homeland. It is the summer of 1995 and Vittorio Belli has long been one of the finest illustrators in educational and public-service communication. And so an internship of just a few weeks convinces me — as if there had ever been any need — that the path of communication I had just embarked upon was the right one. The artist, immersed in a modest yet incredibly inspiring setting, among inks and pastels — reserved and a man of few words — seemed satisfied with the work done: a visual study for a European project linked to culture. Great satisfaction for me, 16 years old at the time.
